"Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart" will be analyzing the fallout of the debate that took place in the Senate, regarding the approval of overall immigration reform, on Sunday, June 16 at 12PM/11AM C
Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) will provide details about what goes on behind closed doors in the Senate and possible amendments to the final proposal,. Jeff Denham (R-CA), a self-described conservative, will explain his support for the legislation and will be talking about his life experiences living in a district that had Hispanics composing 45 percent of its total population as well as the different points of view on immigration within the Republican party.
Also on this weekend's edition of "Enfoque con José Díaz-Balart" (Sunday, June 16 at 12PM/11AM C), José Díaz-Balart moderates a Google Hangout for Hispanic students on the heels of college graduation season in the United States. Díaz-Balart will be with Evelyn García Morales of the Hispanic Caucus Institute and the University of Illinois's Jaime Velásquez, who will offer strategies for finding a job in the current labor market.
