ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW to Be Broadcast in China

Variety reports that Warner Bros. has inked a deal with Sohu Video to make "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" available on the online video platform. According to the report, episodes of the daytime talk show will be subtitled in Chinese and will be made available 48 Hours after they air in the U.S.

"Sohu offers Chinese Internet users a diversified portfolio of top-quality content, with a wide coverage of hot TV dramas, animation and now U.S. talk shows," said Sohu chairman-CEO Charles Zhang. "'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' is one of the most well-known talk shows in the U.S., and we believe it could also have strong appeal and relevance with the Chinese audience."
