The screening will be held Saturday, April 27, followed by a panel with Clint Eastwood moderated by director Darren Aronofsky. The new documentary, produced by Richard Schickel (historian and veteran Time Magazine critic), focuses on Eastwood's unique directorial style as seen through the eyes of many of his actors and producing partners. Interviewed are Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, among others. The documentary explores how the five-time Academy Award-winning Eastwood has managed to be successful with the more than 40 films he has made with Warner Bros. in nearly as many years.
The documentary will make its home entertainment Blu-ray/DVD debut June 4 as part of the two new Eastwood Collections: The Clint Eastwood 40 Film Collection (DVD) and the Clint Eastwood 20 Film Collection (Blu-ray).
