"I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I was probably having a mid-life crisis. Some women do crazy stuff, get shopping addictions or get other crazy things. My mid-life crisis was adopting a boy band." - Dina Eastwood Los Angeles, CA May 2, 2012 – Filled with love, family and music, E!'s new series MRS. EASTWOOD & COMPANY will follow the lives of Dina Eastwood, wife of Academy Award-winning film legend Clint Eastwood, their fifteen year-old daughter Morgan, Dina's nineteen year-old step-daughter Francesca, and Overtone, the all-male, six-member vocal group from South Africa managed by Dina. But before the new series makes its debut, viewers are invited to tune-in two weeks prior for a new special that goes inside the Eastwood's Carmel, CA home to get well acquainted with the newest family on the E! block.
In the new one-hour series premiere of "Mrs. Eastwood & Company" tonight, May 20th at 10pm ET/PT, E! cameras follow the surprisingly relatable daily life of super-mom Dina Eastwood as she juggles the ups and downs of an impressionable teenage daughter, struggles with her skepticism of Francesca's older and rebellious boyfriend – controversial celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, planning family vacations, organizing school carpools, and getting dinner on the table. As if her plate wasn't already full, Dina has taken on a true passion project by virtually adopting the band Overtone (comprised of Emile Welman, Eduard Leonard, Shane Smit, Riaan Weyers, Ernie Bates and Valentino Ponsonby) and spending her very limited spare time preparing this group of handsome, wide-eyed young men for possible life-changing opportunities. From auditions to developing new music and dealing with internal conflict among the group, Dina has vowed to break this band into the American market no matter what obstacles get in her way. With the gorgeous backdrop of Carmel, California as their home, the non-traditional family that makes up "Mrs. Eastwood & Company" may have their quirks, but they are held together by unconditional love, understanding minds and plenty of heart.
