E! to Launch in Russia, CIS this Year

Universal Networks International (UNI), the channels' division of NBCUniversal International Television, today announced that E! Entertainment Television is launching in Russia and the CIS in the second quarter of 2014. The announcement was made by Satpal Brainch, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, UNI.

"E! Entertainment Television is a core channel brand for Universal Networks International and the launch of the brand in Russia and the CIS is an exciting development for both the channel and our business in these markets," commented Brainch. "We look forward to the channel resonating with viewers and advertisers across the region."

Key programming on the Russia/CIS channel includes the latest seasons of popular E! fan favourites including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Fashion Police, as well as popular E! Specials and brand new series such as #Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, among others. Further details regarding E!'s launch in the region will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead.

A core channel brand for NBCUniversal, both in the US and internationally, E! is seen in 150 countries and delivered in 26 languages. E! captures the topics and the personalities that fascinate us all as well as, trends, music, fashion, TV, movies, art, nightlife, philanthropy, technology, design and sports.
