Hermes, Prada and plenty of drama. Mixed (shaken, not stirred) with bottle service, selfies, and growing #instafame, that's what you can expect when E!'s hit reality series #RichKids of Beverly Hills returns for season two tonight, August 3 at 10pm ET/PT followed by a new episode at 10:30pm ET/PT . Welcome back to the 90210, which has acquired a new resident as EJ Johnson relocates to Los Angeles and joins his friends in the fabuluxe zip code over flowing with sunshine, designer fashions, and plenty of plastic by way of surgery and credit cards.
The new season kicks off with a trip to China for the opening of an elite department store that just so happens to be owned by Dorothy's retail mogul father. Joining Dorothy on the trip are Morgan, Brendan, Jonny, and Roxy who is growing tired of Dorothy's reoccurring jabs about her career, style and being financially cut-off by her parents. However, Roxy isn't the only one carrying drama in her couture luggage as Dorothy's boyfriend Cooper is inexplicably absent from the crew's overseas adventures. Even with the galas, VIP treatments, amazing sightseeing and being surrounded by her #BFFs, Dorothy is still distracted by what appears to be a major bump in her relationship and an opportunity to show Cooper the Wang empire. Sounds like love is a battlefield, even when that battlefield is a multimillion dollar property in Beverly Hills and you're worth billions of dollars.
Love and rocky romances are at the forefront of the twenty-somethings' lives in season two. Roxy and Jonny are both ready for a serious relationship and turn to each other for support and encouragement. The besties even venture off on a double blind date, but not before Jonny gets a little style makeover from EJ. Meanwhile, after Morgan turned down Brendan's proposition to move in together before he put a ring on it, the dynamic between the couple has become strained. Once inseparable, the couple is noticeably spending more and more time apart as Brendan's real estate career begins to skyrocket. Questioning where her relationship stands, Morgan turns to her friends for advice and takes a girls trip to Hawaii for some much needed r&r. But as everyone knows, where there's a girls trip, #drama always follows. While Morgan is off with the girls, Brendan questions if his girlfriend is still the one.
As the #RichKids begin to delve further into their personal careers, EJ, the youngest member of the group strives to figure out how to build his fashion empire. The fashion icon, who has publically embraced his sexuality, plans the launch of his fashion blog, giving his followers more of the style 411 they've become accustomed to. Similarly, Jonny taps his #instafollowers and headlines a campaign for members of the LGBT community called #ComingOutMatters, where he opens up about being bullied as a teen for being gay and encourages others to support each other through sharing their stories via social media. While Roxy works on growing her interior design business and the popularity of Morgan's unapologetically raw and real blog BoobsAndLoubs.com continues to grow, Dorothy struggles to build a career that she feels will make her father proud.
The socialites of Beverly Hills will also take on the wilderness when Brendan leads a camping expedition forcing the troop to trade designer perfume and spa days for bug spray and tents. But once back in their natural habitats, the #RichKids must face their real world problems like #frenemies pool party attendance, car shopping, oh... and some impending heartbreak. #DownAndOutInBevHills
If money is the root of all evil, then this season is going to be one hell of a ride... in a Porsche no less. Don't miss the return of @DorothyWang, @Morgan_Stewart, @JonnyDrubel, @RoxySowlaty, @BrendanFitzp and @Prince_EJ when #RichKids of Beverly Hills airs every Sunday at 10pm ET/PT beginning August 3, only
