E! announced today the greenlight of two new series, "Just Jillian" and "The Comment Section," in addition to five original series in development rooted in celebrity and pop culture. The announcement comes on the heels of E! delivering significant ratings growth and success last month, which included finishing +29% ahead of April 2014 in primetime among A18-49. E! was also one of only six top 30 networks to deliver growth in primetime in April, and one of only three networks to see double digit lifts.
"We are excited to unleash our latest line-up of new original programming as we continue to build momentum with fan favorite series," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Programming & Development, E! "While these projects are extremely diverse, they are quintessentially E!, giving our fans a sneak peek into the celebrity lifestyle and having fun with entertainment and pop culture in a way that only E! can."
