THE GRIM SLEEPER is written by Robert Nathan (Law & Order) and Teena Booth (The Drew Peterson Story) and follows the victims and lone survivor of the 'Grim Sleeper', a serial killer responsible for murders of women in Los Angeles between 1985 and 2009. One suspect, Lonnie David Franklin, was arrested in 2010 but has yet to stand trial.
The movie will follow LA Weekly reporter Christine Pelisek, played by Walker, and her in-depth investigations into the 'Grim Sleeper' - a term the journalist coined. Enietra 'Margette' Washington, who will be played by Gray, is the only known survivor of the killer. Hudson and O'Neill will portray officers investigating the case.
Walker's upcoming big screen projects include Don't Worry Baby and Paperback. Her past film credits include Date and Switch, Compliance, The Pill, The Invention of Lying, Gran Torino and more. On television, Walker has starred in The Good Wife, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, Gossip Girl and more.
