DreamWorks Greenlights Sequel to Stone Age Hit THE CROODS

Dreamworks Animation is planning a sequel to their box office hit Stone Age adventure THE CROODS, according to EW.com. The film, released on March 22, brought in over $386 million worldwide.

Featuring the voices of Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Nicolas Cage, and Catherine Keener, the film follows a family of cavemen on the dangerous but adventurous search for a new home.

No details have been revealed as to which, if any stars of the original film will re-up for the sequel.
