For $12.99 a month, consumers will be able to purchase a bundle on Hulu including Disney Plus, ESPN Plus and the advertising-supported version of the streaming platform beginning on November 12.
The bundle was announced on Tuesday during Disney chief Bob Iger's call with Wall Street analysts while discussing Disney's quarterly earnings, Variety reports. Iger explained Disney is also in talks with Apple, Amazon and Google to distribute Disney Plus.
Disney Plus will also create original series that will be exclusive to the service. Iger, who has already watched the "Star Wars"-themed live-action "The Mandalorian," has "been really impressed with the quality and the variety and the volume" of original production for Disney Plus.
The Hollywood Reporter also states Iger discussed how Disney Plus would reboot "Night at the Museum," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," "Home Alone" and "Cheaper by the Dozen" for their streaming service on said phone call. At this time it is unknown if they will remain films or be turned into television series.
More than 300 titles will be released on Disney Plus' launch date, with another hundred movies expected to drop by the end of its first year. Included are eight "Star Wars" pics, four from Marvel (with eight more by the end of year one), 18 Pixar-produced features, 70 from the Disney animation vault and 7,500 episodes of television.
A standalone subscription to Disney Plus will also be available for $6.99 a month.
More information on Disney Plus, the bundle deal and reboots can be found on Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.
