Disney Junior appisodes appBeginning today, an all-new "Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet" appisode is available on the popular Disney Junior appisodes app in advance of its television debut. Marking the first time an appisode is being released prior to an episode's linear premiere, the full episode, titled "Stuffy and Squibbles," with interactive elements, is now available for in-app purchase. The episode is part of Disney Junior's "Doc McStuffins: Pet Vet" programming event, presented in collaboration with the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), Solid Gold Holistic Pet Food and Nationwide. The multi-episode story arc, highlighting lessons about care and responsibility for pets, begins FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 (9:00-10:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and WATCH Disney Junior.
In the appisode, kids help Doc diagnose and cure Stuffy's pet Squibbles when he runs low on energy. Key features enabling kids to fully engage in the episode include:
Diagnose Squibbles - Players use Doc's medical instruments to help give Squibbles a complete check-up. Use the otoscope to check his ears and the stethoscope to listen to his heart.
Charging Station - Players need to help Squibbles get back into his solar-powered charging station and back on the road to recovery.
Fetch - In this game of fetch, kids must master the fine art of stick throwing.
Every pet Doc helps gets recorded in the Pet Vet book. Players add Squibbles to the book by drawing and coloring him in.
