Disney Channel's ANDI MACK Delivers Another Series Ratings High in Total Viewers

Disney Channel's ANDI MACK is primed to rank as the week's #1 TV telecast for the second consecutive week across its key demographics, Kids 6-11 and 6-14 (based on Live + 3 day ratings). The new episode (Friday, 5/12/17) leapt "Andi Mack" to another series ratings high in Total Viewers (1.9 million), Kids 6-11 (861,000/3.6 rating), Tweens 9-14 (822,000/3.3 rating) and Kids 6-14 (1.115 million/3.0 rating).

Friday's new "Andi Mack" also boasted new record highs with Girls 6-11 (646,000/5.5 rating), Girls 9-14 (615,000/5.1 rating) and Girls 6-14 (832,000/4.7 rating), and ranks as the #1 TV series telecast of 2017 to date in those demographics. "Andi Mack" is now the #1 TV series of the year across Girls 6-11, Girls 9-14 and Girls 6-14, accounting for the Top 2 telecasts in Girls 9-14, and 4 of the Top 5 overall in the demographic.

Minting itself among TV's leading series in continuous growth, Friday's "Andi Mack" telecast made for the fifth consecutive week of Total Viewers gains and fourth straight week of growth among Kids and Girls 6-11, and Girls 6-14 (dates back to the series premiere on 4/7/17 and 4/14/17, respectively).

The telecast outperformed its April 7 series debut by substantial double-digit margins including by +27% in Total Viewers (1.871 million vs. 1.468 million), +32% in Kids 2-11 (1.006 million vs. 762,000), +47% in Kids 6-11 (861,000 vs. 584,000), +57% in TW9-14 (822,000 vs. 522,000) and +46% in Kids 6-14 (1.115 million vs. 766,000).

Launch to date across key digital and social platforms, "Andi Mack" has generated over 11 million views via Youtube (4.3 million), Disney Channel VOD (3.5 million), the Disney Channel App (2.6 million) and Facebook/Instagram Stories (1.3 million), and reached 28.4 million Total Viewers to date on linear TV, including 9.2 million Kids 6-14 and 9.7 million Adults 18-49.

A compelling story of self-discovery created by Terri Minsky ("Lizzie McGuire") that premiered March 10 on digital platforms and April 7 on linear TV, "Andi Mack" stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee as Andi Mack, Lilan Bowden as Bex Mack, Lauren Tom as Celia Mack, Joshua Rush as Cyrus Goodman, Sofia Wylie as Buffy Driscoll, Asher Angel as Jonah Beck, Stoney Westmoreland as Ham Mack and Emily Skinner as Amber. Trent Garrett recurs as Bowie. Actress and Hollywood Records recording artist Sabrina Carpenter performs the "Andi Mack" theme song, "Tomorrow Starts Today."

Actor/director Jerry O'Connell directed the episode (5/12/17) in which Andi gets invited to spend the day with her dad Bowie (Trent Garrett), but overprotective Celia makes her go to school. There, Andi learns something important about Jonah and Amber.

The executive producers are Michelle Manning ("The Breakfast Club," Disney Channel Original Movies "Adventures in Babysitting" and "Teen Beach 2") and Terri Minsky. Phil Baker (Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie") is co-executive producer.

The series is from Horizon Productions and was filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.
