Disney / ABC Television Receives 64 Daytime Emmy® Nominations

The Disney|ABC Television received 64 nominations for the 45th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards announced today. "General Hospital" is the most honored show with 26 nominations, including a nod for Outstanding Drama Series.

"The View" and "Live with Kelly and Ryan" reaped nominations in the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show category, while also garnering nominations for their respective hosts in the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host category. "The Chew" was nominated as Outstanding Informative Talk Show, while "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" was nominated for Outstanding Game Show, and host Chris Harrison secured his first Daytime Emmy Nomination in the Outstanding Game Show Host category.

Disney Channel received 10 nominations, Disney Junior scored eight nominations and Disney XD claimed four nominations.

This year's Daytime Emmys will be held Sunday, April 29, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California, and live-streamed via Facebook, Twitter and the Daytime Emmys website; the Creative Arts ceremony takes place the Friday prior.
