Discovery Channel announced THE PRESIDENTS' GATEKEEPERS will premiere as a two-night, four-hour event today, September 11 and Thursday, September 12 at 9PM ET/PT.

For the first time ever, all 20 living White House Chiefs of Staff come together to share their previously untold stories. The special spans nine administrations and 50 years. Considered the second most powerful - and the toughest - job in Washington, D.C., the White House Chief of Staff is the person the president counts on to transform his agenda into reality. He is also the confidant with whom the President, and the first lady, share their secrets. White House Chief of Staff and Vice President Dick Cheney says in the special, "The White House Chief of Staff's job has more authority and more power than the Vice President."

Exclusive interviews include former U.S. presidents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush and Chiefs of Staff that include Howard Baker, Jr., James A. Daley, Kenneth Duberstein, Rahm Emanuel, Jim Jones, Jacob Lew, Denis McDonough, Thomas Mack McLarty, Leon Panetta, John Podesta, Donald Rumsfeld, Samuel K. Skinner, John H. Sununu, Jack Watson and Marvin Watson.
