The workplace just got slightly less HORRIBLE.
Sources have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that original HORRIBLE BOSSES director Seth Gordon has exited the upcoming sequel, due to his involvement with the freshman ABC comedy THE GOLDBERGS, as well as other projects.
Gordon reportedly informed the film's leads, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day, of his decision today.
New Line is still eyeing a fall production kick-off date, most likely for a Summer 2014 release to capitalize on the first film's success in the 'hot' market.

Horrible Bosses' hit theaters in July 2011, following the story of Bateman, Day and Sudeikis, stressed out and overworked employees who devise a plan to do away with their bosses. Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey play the roles of the employers. The film surprisingly grossed about $117 million in the US and $209 million worldwide.
