George Lucas, director of the first six ' STAR WARS films, claims that he hasn't even seen the trailer for the seventh film yet, according to Mashable.
In an interview with Page Six, Lucas claimed he 'didn't know anything' about the teaser trailer, but that he did plan to see the film 'when it's released.'
Lucas sold the rights to the Star Wars franchise to Disney in 2012, and J.J. Abrams then took the position of director for the seventh film. Though it seems his reason for waiting to watch the trailer is that he wants to see the whole film at the theater.
Star Wars The Force Awakens will star John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow. The actors will join original stars of the saga, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
The film is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.Image via Star Wars official Twitter page.
