Diane Farr to Guest on USA Network's ROYAL PAINS

Actress/producer/writer Diane Farr ("Rescue Me," "Numb8rs") will guest in the sixth season of Royal Pains which returns this summer with 13 all new episodes. Farr will play Annie, a private investigator in USA's original series about a concierge doctor in the Hamptons. Stricken by mysterious symptoms during an investigation, she fears her illness will prevent her from solving the most important case of her career. Farr will appear in episode 604.

Farr is best known for her role as Megan Reeves on the series "Numb8rs." She previous starred in "Rescue Me" as Laura Miles and on "Like Family" as Maddie Hudson. Additionally, Farr has guested on numerous television series including "Modern Family," "Californication," "Private Practice," "The Secret Life of an American Teenager" and USA's WHITE COLLAR. She wrote and produced the short film "Ass Castle: Part 1," and produced the documentary "Children of God: Lost and Found." Farr also co-hosted television's "The View" numerous times. She is repped by UTA and managed by Silver Lining Entertainment.

Season six of Royal Pains promises to bring more fun and sun to the Hamptons. When we last saw Hank (Mark Feuerstein), he was embarking on a trip around the world, to provide medical care for Boris (Campbell Scott). This season, Hank will return to find that his HankMed family has moved on without him. Evan (Paulo Costanzo) and Paige (Brooke D'Orsay) continue to see the unconventional couples therapist who saved their marriage, Jeremiah (Ben Shenkman) is in charge of the practice and Divya (Reshma Shetty) is a self-sufficient single mom. What will Hank's role be in this new family dynamic?

ROYAL PAINS is written and executive produced by Andrew Lenchewski and Michael Rauch. Rich Frank also serves as executive producer along with Jeff Kwatinetz from Prospect Park. Connie Burge, Carol Flint and Jon Sherman are executive producers. Jack Bernstein and Jessica Ball are co-executive produce. The series comes from Universal Cable Productions. Royal Pains films in New York (Long Island and Brooklyn) and at locations around the Hamptons. Additionally, this season takes them overseas and to Puerto Rico.
