'Dexter' Reunion On the Way on New CBS Series LIMITLESS

Hollywood Reporter reports that Desmond Harrington is set to play Jennifer Carpenter's love interest for a second time on CBS' freshman drama LIMITLESS.

LIMITLESS is a follow-up to the Bradley Cooper film of the same name. The story follows Jake McDorman's character Brian Sinclair as he solves weekly cases for the FBI with his drug-enhanced abilities.

Harrington will guest star as Casey Rooks, a special agent who is experienced in martial arts, meditation, and combat sports. When he is assigned to train Brian Sinclair, he is impressed by Brian's ability to learn skills so quickly. Casey soon becomes obsessed with Sinclair's ability to master skills and keeps a close eye on Brian, hoping to uncover his secret. Casey has a secret of his own that he is hoping to protect: his love affair with Brian's boss, Agent Rebecca Harris, played by Jennifer Carpenter.

Desmond Harrington will appear in the fifth episode of the season with the possibility to recur. The casting marks a reunion for DEXTER stars Carpenter and Harrington. On DEXTER, Harrington played Joey Quinn, a love interest of Carpenter's Debra Morgan.

Harrington recently starred on ABC's THE ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB.

LIMITLESS premieres on September 22 at 10 PM on CBS.
