Destination America garnered double-digit growth in Prime and Total Day for May 2014 vs. May 2013 among key demos, including P2+, HH, and P/W25-54/18-49 in delivery. With hit series Mountain Monsters, BBQ Pitmasters, and Buying the Bayou, Destination America earned its best May ever in Prime and Total Day. The network has now experienced 24 consecutive months of year-over-year delivery gains in Prime among P25-54 and has ranked among cable's top five fastest-growing networks in Prime delivery among key demos P2+, HH, P/W 25-54 and P/M/W18-49 for YTD.
Destination America's May 2nd premiere of hit series Mountain Monsters garnered the networks second highest rated telecast ever among M25-54. Mountain Monsters also helped Destination America rank as the 5th ad supported cable network in its timeslot among M25-54 coverage ratings.
Destination America beat out competitors in Prime delivery among P25-54 for the month, including Cooking Channel, IFC, Esquire and BIO.
