Despite Increased Compeition, The CW's 'TOP MODEL' Builds Week-To-Week

The CW's reality hit AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL went head-to-head with "American Idol" for the first time this season and saw its ratings improve over last week by 5% in women 18-34 (2.2/7), 8% in adults 18-34 (1.4/5), 11% in women 18-49 (2.1/6), 17% in adults 18-49 (1.4/4) and 4% in total viewers (2.96mil), according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, April 21, 2010. TOP MODEL ranked second from 8:00-9:00p.m. among adults 18-34, women 18-34, women 18-49, persons 12-34 (1.3/5) and females 12-34 (2.0/7), behind only "Idol." TOP MODEL also topped an original "Mercy" on NBC in adults 18-49.
