Deni Bechard Guests on Next DR. SUSAN BLOCK SHOW Tonight

Tonight, November 30th, The Dr. Susan Block Show will observe the "Thanksgivikkah" holiday weekend with a special live broadcast about the great strides being made in bonobo conservation and the urgent challenges ahead for those of us who care about our "Make-Love-Not-War" ape cousins and all of nature. Joining international sexologist Dr. Susan Block live via webcam will be award-winning author Deni Béchard, whose captivating new book, Empty Hands, Open Arms: The Race to Save Bonobos in the Congo and Make Conservation Go Viral, focuses on the exciting work of Dr. Block's old friend Sally Jewell Coxe and the Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI), a revolutionary organization which uses what Béchard calls "a truly postcolonial model of conservation" to help save the bonobos and the rainforest.
