Billboard reports that early Friday morning, pop singer Demi Lovato took to Twitter to defend her sexy VMAs performance.

Lovato, joined by a suprise appearance of Iggy Azalea, put on a great performance with a remix of her single "Cool for the Summer", but, many viewers were taken aback by Lovato's sexy performance as it is not typical of the feel-good anthems she is best known for.

The pop singer then promised that even if "Cool for the Summer" isn't the inspirational song her fans are looking for, she has an entire album coming out that can be looked forward to.
