Debut of TV One's R&B DIVAS is Most-Watched Primetime Telecast

TV One announced today that the series premiere of R&B Divas LA, the newest addition to its R&B Divas reality series franchise, was the network's most watched Primetime telecast year-to-date among its core audience of P25-54. The premiere episode was also the most watched third quarter Wednesday Primetime telecast in the history of the network among P25-54. R&B Divas LA airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET and follows West Coast Divas Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel'le, and Dawn Robinson as they come together for a secret project showcasing their talents, trials, tribulations, and most of all, triumphs.

Among TV One's core audience of Adults 25-54, the premiere earned a .70 rating, delivering 434,000 P25-54, a 61 percent increase versus the season two premiere of R&B Divas Atlanta on Wednesday, May 1 at 10 p.m. ET (.43 rating; 269,000 P25-54). The premiere earned a .83 HH rating, delivering 476,000 homes, a 29 percent increase versus the season two premiere of R&B Divas Atlanta (.65 rating; 370,000 homes).

Year-to-date, the R&B Divas LA premiere is the #2 Wednesday Primetime reality series debut on ad-supported cable among P25-54. The episode was also the #2 premiere telecast for the R&B Divas franchise among P25-54, only behind the R&B Divas Atlanta series debut on August 20, 2012 (.76 rating; 479,000 P25-54).

The eight-episode, one-hour series was filmed primarily in Los Angeles. The series is produced for TV One by ThinkfactoryMedia, Executive Producers are Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Phil Thornton, and Leslie Greif. Co-Executive Producers are Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Faith Evans, Paul Coy Allen, and Aaron Fishman. Executive in charge of production for TV One is Jubba Seyyid.
