Debut of NBC's MAYA & MARTY Wins Time Slot Among Big 4 in Every Key Demo

NBC wins Tuesday night among the Big 4 in every key measure, as the #1 and #2 shows of the night in all key demographics (including a tie for #2 in men 18-34), "America's Got Talent" and "Maya & Marty," sweep six of six half-hours among the Big 4 in adults 18-49

The season premiere of "America's Got Talent" (2.5/10 in 18-49, 11;5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Is close to rounding up to a 2.6 (currently reporting a 2.54 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

Grows +19% versus last summer's finale in 18-49 (2.5 vs. 2.1 from 9-11 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015), and is retaining 96% of the show's year-ago debut (2.6/9 from 8-10:01 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015).

In total viewers, jumps +19% versus last summer's finale (11.547 million vs. 9.685 million) and is up +4% versus the show's year-ago premiere (11.093 million).

Equals or beats 15 of 17 Tuesday telecasts last summer in 18-49.

Ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in every key measure (adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers).

Grows +33% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adults 18-49 (2.1 to 2.8).

The debut of "Maya & Marty" (1.5/6 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Is extremely close to rounding up to a 1.6 (currently reporting a 1.549 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings) and wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demo.

Is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in every key demo (including a tie in men 18-34), behind only "America's Got Talent."

Wins the slot by a +50% margin among ABC, CBS and NBC (1.5 vs.1.0 for for CBS's original "Person of Interest").

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.8/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.1/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
