Victoria Theatre Association makes you an offer impossible to refuse with an epic three-day presentation of THE GODFATHER TRILOGY tonight, August 17 – 19, 2012 at the Victoria Theatre as part of our 2012 Cool Films Series.THE GODFATHER, showing tonight, August 17, 2012, introduces audiences to the infamous Corleone family, including Marlon Brando as Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as Michael Corleone. The family's integral involvement in the New York Mafia spawns the plot for this cinematic landmark.

THE GODFATHER II, showing Saturday, August 18, 2012, follows Michael Corleone's struggles as the newly crowned Don of the Corleone family. The winner of six Oscars including the first sequel to ever win Best Picture, the trilogy's second installmentis sure to make an offer no audience member can refuse.

THE GODFATHER III, showing Sunday, August 19, 2012, completes the Corleone family saga. This film, proclaimed the epilogue by director Francis Ford Coppola, includes depictions of the death of Pope John Paul I and the Papal banking scandal, attributing them to Michael Corleone's mafia activity. Concluding in the death of the Don, you can't miss this final installment!

Leave gun and "taste" the cannoli on Friday, August 17 at 6:30. Join your Godfather gangsters at a pre-movie Italian Wine-Tasting on the 3rd floor of the Victoria Theatre for only $10. Three Italian wines (two red, one white) will be on-hand and ready to taste along with a sampling of Italian-themed desserts and appetizers provided by Lucky's Taproom & Eatery.

What's the best part about the 2012 Cool Films Series (besides FREE popcorn and soda)? Tickets are just $5 each, or $28 for a 10-ticket passbook for passbook subscribers – a great entertainment bargain during a year when gas prices have been hovering near $4 per gallon! Tickets are also available day-of-show at Ticket Center Stage Box Office at the Victoria Theatre, beginning one hour prior to showtime. Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays in the Victoria Theatre. Recreating the feel of the old-time movie palaces, guests may enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby beginning one hour prior to showtime, a Mighty Wurlitzer organ concert beginning 30 minutes prior to showtime, and a classic cartoon just before the movie.

As if free popcorn and soda were not enough, Go Cupcake's Cupcake Truck will make an appearance one hour before the Sunday 2 p.m. matinee. Go Cupcake's scrumptious cupcakes will be available for purchase starting at $2.50 per cupcake that come in a variety of flavors.
