David Schwimmer will make his second foray into directing with the film 'Trust,' starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. The project was conceived by Schwimmer and penned by Andy Bellin for Millennium Films.
In Trust, Owen and Keener play the parents a teenage daughter who becomes a victim of an online sexual predator. Newcomer Liana Liberato will play the daughter.
Schwimmer's first film behind the camera was the Simon Pegg-starring comedy "Run Fatboy Run," which topped the U.K. box office for five consecutive weeks in 2007 and was nominated for a British Independent Film Award.
Best known playing Ross on the sitcom Friends, David Schwimmer appeared on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and is a member of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre. He recently starred in their production of Our Town. He also directed the Off-Broadway production of Stephen Belber's Fault Lines.
Clive Owen's acclaimed stage work includes portraying Romeo at the Young Vic, starring in Sean Mathias' staging of Noel Coward's Design for Living and playing the lead role in Patrick Marber's original production of Closer at the Royal National Theater.
