According to Variety, Daniel Craig has confirmed Bond 25 will be his next project!
The James Bond star confirmed to the Associated Press this week that he will be returning to the super spy role for his next project. The film will be the 25th installment in the long-running franchise and marks Craig's fifth stint as 007. Danny Boyle, the Oscar-winning director of "Slumdog Millionaire," will reportedly direct the film, but Craig was tight-lipped when the AP caught up with him at the Opportunity Network's charity auction that included his personal 2014 Aston Martin.
Craig revealed the Bond newswhile auctioning off his personal Aston Martin. It's the race car made iconic by its prominent role in such Bond films as "Goldfinger" and "Skyfall." Craig will donate all proceeds from the sale of to the Opportunity Network, which supports underprivileged students in their quest for higher education.
Daniel Craig has been seen on Broadway in the smash hit Betrayal, opposite Rachel Wesz, and opposite Hugh Jackman in A Steady Rain in 2009. Craig has also starred as Bond in Spectre, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace, and Casino Royale. In 2011, Craig starred in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,directed by David Fincher. Craig's earlier film credits include The Power of One, Obsession, Love and Rage, Road to Perdition, Layer Cake, Infamous, and Steven Spielberg's Oscar-nominated film Munich. Craig's additional theatre credits include leading roles in Hurlyburly with the Peter Hall Company at the Old Vic, Angels in America at The National Theatre, and A Number at the Royal Court, opposite Michael Gambon.
