Dame Judi Dench Receives Bananagram Medal of Honor

Acclaimed actress Judi Dench is not only amazing on screen, but amazing at word games, specifically the game Bananagrams.

In April 2013, Bananagrams super fan Dame Judi Dench received the "Top Banana" medal from Bananagrams owner and CEO Rena Nathanson.

"Judi Dench was on the film, too, and introduced us to the game Bananagram. She's extremely good at it."

Dench is known to play the word game on the set with cast and crew members between shoots. Since Bananagrams is small, portable and has quick game-play, it's perfect for such occasions.

"I think it's fabulous Judi Dench is received the Top Banana award medal from Bananagrams," said John Burger, owner of the internet toy retailer Playfully Ever After. "This is such a fun game that's growing in popularity and it's great to see a celebrity like Judi Dench enjoying it."
