DWTS's J.R. Martinez to Guest Star on ARMY WIVES

TVGuide.com reports that DWTS's champion J.R. Martinez is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of the Lifetime drama series ARMY WIVES, slated to air this August.

Martinez is an Iraq War veteran who served as an infantryman and was severely burned when the vehicle he was traveling in hit a landmine in 2003. The 28-year-old underwent numerous surgeries after being burned on more than 40 percent of his body. 

The Season 13 Dancing With The Stars winner portrayed Brot Monroe on ABC's long-running daytime drama 'All My Children'. In Army Wives, he willl take on the role of "an Army soldier-turned-physical therapist who works with wounded veterans". His episode will be shot in Charleston, S.C.

ARMY WIVES returns Sunday, June 24 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
