According to Showbiz 411, the much-anticipated DOWNTON ABBEY movie is currently in negotiations. The show's creators, Julian Fellowes and Gareth Neame, are moving quickly to ensure that all of the actors will still be available for the film. The finale of the TV show is set for March 6th, 2016.

It is the top PBS drama of all time, the most popular series in MASTERPIECE's 44-year history, and one of the most-watched dramas on American television, frequently beating the competition in its Sunday night time slot.MASTERPIECE is presented on PBS by WGBH Boston.
