Home renovator Tamara Day transforms Kansas City's forgotten centuries-old properties into spacious dream homes on DIY Network's newest series BARGAIN MANSIONS. Premiering Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the 12-episode series showcases Tamara as she scoops up rundown mansions for a fraction of their worth, uncovers distinctive features hidden by years of decay and incorporates the modern amenities that will attract buyers.

"These large old homes just need a little more love to bring them back to their former glory," said Tamara. "Restoring homes is my passion and I'm grateful it's my job too."

In each episode, Tamara, a mother of four, teams up with her own father and mentor, Ward, as she takes on challenges common to older homes, including water damage and cracked foundations. She also redesigns unusual layouts to create desirable open-concept spaces. With strict TIMELINES and budgets in place, Tamara saves and restores the authentic features such as pocket doors, stately staircases and exposed brick walls of these historic properties. In addition to original charm, the finished homes boast refreshed exteriors, gorgeous kitchens and spa-like bathrooms.
