DC Comics' 'Dark Nights: Metal' To Be Released as Exclusive Vinyl Picture Disc

Reprise Records continues its popular 12" limited-edition vinyl picture disc series, Picture This, with a very special release in celebration of DC Entertainment's graphic novel, DARK NIGHTS: METAL: DELUXE EDITION-available now in record and comic book shops, bookstores and digitally. The exclusive vinyl arrives September 28 and will feature all six tracks inspired by DC Comics' Dark Nights: Metal.

These include "Red Death" by Brann Dailor of Mastodon, "Brief Exchange" by Chino Moreno of Deftones, "War Cry" by Alexis Krauss ofSleigh Bells, "Fact Check" by Jason Aalon Butler of Fever 333, "The Calling" by Maria Brink and Chris Howorth of In This Moment, and"Setting Sun" by Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains. All songs were recorded in Los Angeles and produced by GRAMMY® Award winner Mike Elizondo(Eminem, Twenty-One Pilots, The Regrettes) and film composer and former Marilyn Manson guitarist Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2,Deadpool).

Poised to become a collector's item, the pressing will be limited to only 4,000 copies, while exclusive artwork adorns both sides of the disc. This marks the first vinyl release for all of these songs. It also will be accompanied by a poster and a 32 page comic book

Last year, Picture This launched to widespread fan enthusiasm as all initial pressings sold out. The original run featured best-selling classics such asGreen Day's Dookie, Mastodon's Crack The Skye, Blood Mountain, andThe Hunter, The Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, and many more on picture disc vinyl.

Available now, the DARK NIGHTS: METAL Deluxe Edition hardcover collects issues #1-6 of the groundbreaking monthly comic book series and is written and drawn by the best-selling creative team of writer Scott Snyder and artistGreg Capullo.
