DATELINE Tops Non-Sports Programming for Friday Night

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the top non-sports choice in the time period on ABC, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. "Dateline" is tied for the #1 non-sports telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks and is the #1 non-sports telecast outright on those nets in adults 25-54.

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the half-hour since June 28 ("Dateline NBC") and attracting the network's biggest overall audience in the time period since that same date, pending updates.

At 8:30, a second rebroadcast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) is currently equaling NBC's best 18-49 rating in the time slot since June 28 and delivering the network's top total-viewer result in the half-hour since that same date, pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
