DATELINE NBC begins its 25th anniversary season on Friday, September 23 with a two-hour premiere at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, the first of 15 two-hour specials scheduled for the landmark season. The two-hour episodes of "Dateline" will air every Friday from September 23 through December. Click here to watch a preview of the 25th season.

The season premiere, "After the Storm," features an exclusive interview with the convicted murderer of a beautiful woman who is strangled to death in her large, upscale Austin, Texas home. Police look at the men in the victim's life, while also considering that a stranger may have killed her. Careful detective work, along with the help of many women who also encountered the mystery man, solves the case. The murderer did not testify, and this marks his first time speaking to the media. Keith Morrison reports.
