BC Monday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 9.5 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): ABC was the most watched network on Monday (9.5 million) and took second in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5) to NBC. The No. 1 show of the night (12.0 million), ABC's "Dancing" finished as Monday's most watched TV series on each of its final 4 telecasts this season. "DWTS" was the No. 2 TV series of the night in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6). In viewers and young adults, the Net delivered Monday season highs with regular programming.

Please note: ABC's Monday lineup was preempted in San Francisco for local NFL coverage (2.169% U.S.). Season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars" concludes tonight from 9:00-11:00 p.m., on Tuesday 11/22/16.

From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's finals of "Dancing with the Stars" beat NBC's "The Voice" by a season best in Total Viewers (+2.5 million - 12.0 million vs. 9.5 million) and marked its nearest finish this season with the NBC unscripted series in Adults 18-49 (0.3 rating point difference - 1.8/6 vs. 2.1/7). Building week to week in Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%), "DWTS" delivered its best performance on the night since its season premiere 10 weeks ago - since 9/12/16.

At 10:00 p.m., ABC's freshman "Conviction" held even week to week in Adults 18-49 (0.8/3).

Projections Rationale: Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
