DANCING WITH THE STARS 'All Stars' Special Planned for Next Season

DANCING WITH THE STARS runner-up Mario Lopez co-hosted this week's 'Live With Kelly!' and confirmed the news that producers of the dance competition are in the process of planning a series of 'All-Star' specials for next year's season. Lopez and his dance partner, Karina Smirnoff lost the competition to football star Emmitt Smith and partner Cheryl Burke.

Revealed Lopez, "You know what Kelly? They're doing a Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars this next season. They called me to do it."Lopez added that he wasn't sure if his busy schedule would allow him to participate on the upcoming special saying, "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."

ABC and Dancing with the Stars have not yet commented on Lopez's comments.

DANCING WITH THE STARS is currently in its 14th season with remaining celebrities Roshon Fegan, Maria Menounos, Katherine Jenkins, Donald Driver, Melissa Gilbert, Jaleel White, and William Levy  still in contention for the mirrorball trophy. Singer Gladys Knight was the most recent celebrity to be eliminated from the competition. 

DANCING WITH THE STARS airs Monday (April 30) at 8/7c on ABC.
