The 10th Annual Global Smarties Awards Gala, which will take place Wednesday, October 1 at the Highline Stages in NYC, is set to be a wonderful celebration of the companies that are trailblazers within the mobile space, conquering and disrupting the industry. Jason Jones, who is best known as the senior correspondent on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", will serve as the evening's host.
Jones will take the stage to emcee while the Global Jury present mobile marketing's best and brightest with one of the marketing industry's most coveted awards - Gold, Silver and Bronze Smarties. This year, the shortlist includes close to 100 campaigns from 30 countries with brands like Dove, Ford, Lincoln, Mercedes Benz, Nike, Old Navy, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, The Coca-Cola Company, Unilever and many more.
Attendees will also enjoy a performance from Delvin R. Choice, a Top 8 Finalist on Season 6 of NBC's blockbuster vocal competition "The Voice". Choice was a member of 'Team Adam' with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine as his coach. Choice has been singing all his life and has a loyal following. He finished first in the Omega Talent Hunt Program in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Choice has musical theatre experience as well, having landed roles in The Greenville Little Theatre's productions of Ain't Misbehavin' and Roger and Hammerstein's Carousel.

The Smarties Awards Gala will culminate the mobile marketing industry's flagship MMA SM2 Innovation Summit, which will take place September 30-October 1 during Advertising Week in NYC. The Summit is set to feature two days of sessions focused on mobile marketing, including presentations from Facebook, Unilever, Hasbro, BNY Melon, Ford and others.
