According to The Wrap, SEX AND THE CITY's Cynthia Nixon has signed on to join Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton in the upcoming Manhattan-based comedy LIFE ITSELF.
The film comes from Myriad Pictures, and is based upon Jill Ciment's novel HEROICE MEASURES. The studio recently tapped Richard Loncraine to direct. Freeman's Revelations Entertainment will produce alongside Latitude Productions.
LIFE ITSELF follows married New York couple who find themselves in a real estate bidding war after putting their downtown apartment on the market - and must accept the fact they may be leaving their home behind.
Nixon will take on the role of Keaton's niece, who also works as her real estate agent.
Nixon is currently working on the film A Quiet Passion. Her recent TV credits -- beyond her longtime portrayal of 'Miranda Hobbes' on Sex and the City -- include the miniseries World Without End, 30 Rock and The Big C.
