As first reported on Hollywoodreporter.com, actress Cybill Shepherd will be starring in Lifetime's upcoming drama, THE CLIENT LIST. The actress will be reprising her role as the mother of Jennifer Love Hewitt's character in the series which is based on a 2010 Lifetime movie. The network announced back in August that it had ordered 10 hour-long episodes of the series, which is being produced by Sony.
The movie will focus on Hewitt's character, a housewife who hails from a conservative Texas community. In order to support her family, she accepts a position at a day spa, but quickly figures out that the spa's employees are actually prostitutes whose clients include prominent members of the community. With no other choice, she agrees to become a prostitute herself. Shepard will portray her mother in the series, which marks the actresses first regular series since her 1990's sitcom 'Cybill' left the air.
Shepard's recent TV appearances include USA's Psych and ABC's No Ordinary Family.
