Despite MGM's many postponements of 'Bond 23,' the as yet untitled twenty-third film in the James Bond franchise, star Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes will still work on the film, contactmusic.com reports.

MGM has indefinitely postponed the filming of 'Bond 23,' and there is no word on when it will be released. Mendes and Craig plan to work on other projects--the film adaptation of Ian McEwan's 'On Chesil Beach' and the film 'Cowboys and Aliens,' respectively--but to return to 'Bond 23' when MGM overcomes financial issues that are delaying the film.

The film was said to have been officially cancelled last week, upon which a source said to the Daily Mirror, "Members of the production crew have been told the Bond film has been canned. There is a lot of bad feeling as a lot of time, money and hard work has already gone into this."
