Crackle, the multi-platform entertainment network premieres the second season of their original series "Chosen," on December 12, 2013. Returning as star and executive producer of the psychological thriller is Milo Ventimiglia and joining the lead cast is Chad Michael Murray ("One Tree Hill"). Additional performances include those by returning stars Nicky Whelan (HALL PASS, "Scrubs") and Brett Davern ("Awkward") with new stars Sarah Roemer (DISTURBIA) and Brandon Routh (SUPERMAN RETURNS). The new season marks the return of executive producers Ventimiglia alongside series creators Ben Ketai (30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DARK DAYS) and Ryan Lewis (HIGH SCHOOL, FAT KID RULES THE WORLD). Written by Evan Charnov (LOST BOYS: THE THIRST) and Ketai, the new season will consist of six half-hour episodes and will premiere December 12, 2013 on Crackle.

Continuing the story of Ian Mitchell (Ventimiglia) and his family, the second season of "Chosen" goes deeper into the deadly game the Mitchells were swept into and follows the lives of others who also received mysterious boxes forcing them to kill - or else - including new character Jacob Orr (Murray). The second season of six half-hour episodes, ensures to pack more thrills, suspense and jaw-dropping moments.

The first season of "Chosen" registered 2.4 million streams in less than 10 weeks, ahead of projections, and was spread across a variety of devices: 48% online, 36% on Connected TV devices and 16% on mobile and tablet devices. Half of the viewers who watched the first episode watched all six, and per user time spent watching the program averaged 45 minutes and went as high as 75 minutes per session on Xbox. For the pre roll video, Crackle saw an astonishing 98.6 percent completion rate of the ads. Crackle is ad supported and totally free to consumers across all platforms and in 23 countries.
As one of the few digital series to return with more episodes, the second season of "Chosen" will strengthen Crackle's acclaimed portfolio of originals which includes EXTRACTION, Crackle's first digital feature which debuted in September; the original series "Cleaners," starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Emily Osment and David Arquette, which debuted October 3; and the Emmy-nominated series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" starring Jerry Seinfeld.
