ESPN's College GameDay Built by the Home Depot trucks will roll into Ft. Worth's Sundance Square this week for the opening weekend of college football. Fans and mascots from Texas schools such as Baylor, North Texas, SMU, TCU and UT, as well as fans of the two teams featured in that night's ABC Saturday Night Football 8 p.m. ET matchup - Wisconsin and Alabama, are invited to THE SQUARE to kick off the season with College GameDay, its on-site fan activities and country music superstar Brad Paisley.
Paisley, who served as a guest picker at GameDay's West Virginia stop last year, will perform his new single, "Country Nation" for the crowd and viewers at home during the Saturday, Sept. 5, season-opening telecast (9 a.m. - noon ET) hosted by Rece Davis with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack.
Additional programming details will be announced later in the week including planned features, segments and the guest picker.
