Actor/singer Corey Feldman, who began his career at the age of three and has appeared in more than 80 films, will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the third annual Young Entertainer Awards on Sunday, April 15, 2018.

The Young Entertainer Awards ceremony will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15 in the Globe Theatre at Universal Studios, 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA. Nominees will walk the Red Carpet beginning at 9:30 a.m. Hosting the 2018 awards will be Emmy-winning KTLA-TV evening news anchor Courtney Friel and KIIS-FM radi0 personality Manny Streetz.

Honoring a bevy of super-talented rising stars ages 5 - 21, the Young Entertainer Awards has all the trappings and show-biz pizzazz of the Oscars, Emmys, or Golden Globes. There are award categories for performance in film, TV, voice-over, web, and theatre, as well as for directing.

Disney/Pixar's newest star, 13-year-old Anthony Gonzalez, who voiced the role of Miguel in the Academy Award-winning film Coco, will receive the first-ever "Breakout Young Entertainer of the Year Award" at this year's ceremony.

In addition to receiving the Breakout Young Entertainer of the Year Award, Anthony Gonzalez will perform with his older siblings in their family mariachi band. Also performing at this year's ceremony will be 15-year-old Aliyah Moulden, a top 3 finalist from NBC's THE VOICE 2017 who has been compared to such legends as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Adele, and Sony R&B vocal group Next Town Down, who met on social media and exploded on Musical.ly, becoming the fastest growing music group in Musical.ly's history. Their "Evolution of Boybands" video went viral with over 17 million views. Among this year's presenters will be broadcast journalist Naibe Reynoso, well known to Los Angeles audiences for her news and entertainment segments on Fox News Latino and CNN Español.

The 2018 Young Entertainer Awards show will stream live on the Young Entertainer Awards Youtube channel. The Red Carpet event preceding the awards ceremony will stream live on the Young Entertainer Awards Facebook page.

The Young Entertainer Awards Foundation scholarship program seeks to assist and encourage physically or financially disadvantaged young performers. A central component of each Young Entertainer Awards ceremony is the presentation of a scholarship in support of arts education. This year's scholarship recipient will be Silverlake Conservatory, a non-profit music school in Los Angeles founded by Michael "Flea" Balzay of the Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Young Entertainer Awards were established in late 2015 by Amparo and Michael Wiener to honor youthful performance achievements in film, television, music, and stage. The Young Entertainer Awards Foundation is a non-profit organization created by members of the entertainment industry who want to provide a positive incentive for young entertainers to perfect their skills and build a strong foundation of confidence that will benefit them not only in their present careers but also in whatever paths they wish to follow in the future.
