Corey Feldman announced today that in celebration of his birthday, he will digitally re-release his first two solo albums, Love Left, featuring songs from the Dream a Little Dream soundtrack; and Former Child Actor. Feldman will also release a bonus track, "Negativity" which was pulled from the original release of Former Child Actor to be added to the soundtrack of the film Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), starring David Spade. Hollywood Records released that soundtrack.
This celebratory release comes on the heels of the worldwide premiere of Feldman's latest solo single, "Ascension Millennium" whose video premiered on MTV on July 1, achieving Buzzworthy Status in just 12 hours. The video has racked up nearly 500,000 views in the U.S. since its release and is still going strong globally.
"I am really excited to bring these albums back to a whole new audience for the first time," commented Feldman. "The fans are so excited about the new sound of 'Ascension' that I didn't feel it was fair to make them wait two more months for more downloadable music. And, although 'Negativity' wasn't originally on either album being released today, in light of the mainstream media's attack on 'Ascension Millennium' I felt it was a perfect response. The media may want to make fun of it, but my fans want to HAVE fun with it!"
This release is part of the first wave of promotion of Feldman's brand launch of Corey's Angels, which will include the launch of his new 360 production, development, and agency, coupled with a private membership club and members website. Corey's Angels will be featured in a brand new web series, videos, and films. His upcoming as yet untitled solo album is slated for release in October 2013, and is Feldman's first solo release since 2005.
