SPEED up a home construction project by feeding her carpenter friend a Spice-infused Steak, then escapes the construction zone by taking her kids on an impromptu bungee-jumping expedition. Another episode finds Bal at the controls of a backhoe, landscaping her yard to make way for a long-planned vegetable garden followed by a festive dinner party to celebrate her bountiful harvest. In another, Bal decides to enter her beat-up car in a demolition derby, but not before fueling up her pit crew with a lunch of Cheeseburgers with Mushrooms and Onions and Cumin-spiced Grilled Corn and revving up her own courage with a meal of Sable Fish Seasoned with Garam Masala.
It all adds up to a deliciously unpredictable and fun-filled series, as Bal finds creative ways to satisfy her voracious appetite for life while feeding everyone around her with her unique, flavorful cooking.
