Cooking Channel Announces January 2015 Highlights

Cooking Channel kicks off the New Year with new series and new seasons of fan-favorites! The month starts off with a bang when host Emeril Lagasse discovers the best eats of the Sunshine State in a new season of Emeril's Florida premiering Sunday, January 3rd at 2:30pmET/11:30amPT.

Then, the final two home cooks in the MASTERCHEF CANADA competition go head-to-head in a three-course culinary battle for the trophy and the grand prize of $100,000 in the epic finale on Tuesday, January 12th at 9:00pmET/6:00pmPT.

On Tuesday, January 19th at 9:00pmET/6:00pmPT, Bobby Deen and Nikki Dinki return to see how their slimmed-down versions of popular local, decadent delights measure up against THE ORIGINALS in a new season of Junk Food Flip, premiering Tuesday, January 19th at 9:00pmET/6:00pmPT. Next up, Justine Simmons and Rev Run return to the lineup for more food, fun and family in a new season of Rev Run's Sunday Suppers premiering Wednesday, January 27th at 10:00pmET/7:00pmPT.

Then, it is a world-wide food adventure on Saturday, January 30th when host Judy Joo shares recipes inspired by her heritage and travels in Korea in the season premiere of Korean Food Made Simple at 9:00amET/6:00amPT, followed by the season premiere of Siba's Table at 9:30amET/6:30amPT, featuring Siba Mtongana dishing up traditional South African dishes with a modern twist. The adventure continues at 10:00amET/7:00amPT, with the premiere of new series Sarah Graham's Food Safari, as South African food blogger and cookbook author Sarah Graham sets out on an ambitious food safari across Zimbabwe, Zambia and South AFRICA with delicious recipes and unexpected surprises.

The January lineup also includes premieres of Sugar Showdown, Tia Mowry at Home, UNIQUE SWEETS and Unwrapped 2.0. Plus, CookingChannelTV.com has the healthy recipes and tips to start the New Year off right, and game day recipes to keep party guests munching from the kickoff to the final whistle.
