Six talented kids prevailed last night against 18 musical contenders during the second "Battle Round" of Telemundo's hit competition "La Voz Kids." They join last week's six finalists on their way to the Final phase. Guest mentors and music stars Yandel, Diana Reyes and Kany Garcia continued working with Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez to get the second group of participants ready for the stage.
During the decisive battles, each Coach had three members of their own team compete against each other by performing together the same song. After each encounter, the Coaches had to make the difficult choice of which of the three kids would advance to the Final Phase. Following are last night's teams and its winners:
#TEAMROYCE
· Competed: Daniela Ramos, Genesis
Rodriguez and Yoandri Cabrera
Winner: YOANDRI CABRERA, 14 years old, from Miami, Florida
Performed the "bachata" hit song "Te Perdiste mi Amor" by Prince Royce.

Juan Manuel Velez
Winner: JUAN MANUEL VELEZ, 8 years old, from Houston, Texas
· Performed the classic "Los Hombres no Deben Llorar" as three amazing "churros."
#TEAMTAPIA
· Competed: Christo Escalante, Ruby Saavedra and Abril Cisneros
Winner: ABRIL CISNEROS, 8 years old, from Las Vegas, Nevada
Performed another classic, "Allá en el Rancho Grande," dressed as three "mariachis."
· Competed: Liza Morales, Gilmaria Villanueva and Angelina Green
Winner: GILMARIE VILLANUEVA, 15 years old, from Arecibo, Puerto Rico
Performed the pop hit song "Since You've Been Gone" in English.
#TEAMNATALIA
· Competed: Gabriel Arredondo, Aimee
Miranda and Xairexis Garcia
Winner: AIMEE MIRANDA, 13 years old, from Newburgh, New York
Performed pop song "Next to Me" in its English and Spanish versions.
· Competed: Abel Gonzalez, Julyanna Fimbres and Yailenis Perez
Winner: ABEL GONZALEZ, 14 years old, from Miami, Florida
Performed Mexican band Maná's rock song "De Pies a Cabeza."
The last "Battle Round" of Telemundo's "La Voz Kids" will be next Sunday, May 11 at 8pm/7c. The remaining 18 voices will face each other and the last six will be selected to continue to the Final Phase. A total of 18 young voices selected during the three "Battle Rounds" will compete against each other in spectacular individual performances. During this Final phase, Coaches and viewers will vote to keep the best talent in the competition leading to the grand finale.

Primetime telenovela "La Impostora," was the guest star of
The After show hosted by Jorge Bernal and Penelope Menchaca. Also, La Voz Kids' contestants Angelina Green, Gabriel Arredondo and Daniela Ramos, shared their experiences after leaving last night's Battle Rounds. Telemundo's Digital Reporter, Paola Pedroza, came to the set to talk about her experiences and all the behind-the-scenes action of the hit Sunday night reality show.
