According to Conan O'Brien's representatives, the former host of NBC's 'The Tonight Show' may take to the stage in a revue-style live show, says the New York Times.
The Times says that plans are in the works for what could be a national multi-city tour spanning from the East to the West Coast. "With his separation deal from NBC preventing Mr. O'Brien from appearing anywhere on television until after Sept. 1, the comedian's representatives have for severAl Weeks been formulating a plan to get him back in front of the public in a show that would have some elements of his television work combined with new stage elements."
"After exploring the degree of interest with some locations, Mr. O'Brien's team has received "enormous interest from all over."
Interest for O'Brien's live show extends beyond the U.S., with his representatives confirming they have received appearance requests from the U.K., Scandinavia, Australia, and Toronto.
While no formal announcement has been made, O'Brien's representatives are confident that the comic's appeal could draw in the masses. As such, his representatives are eyeing venues like Radio City Music Hall in New York. "The interest is enough that Conan could probably do stadiums, but he doesn't want to," the representative said.
