Celebrated Composer Ramin Djawadi won an Emmy® Award tonight for his iconic musical work on the television juggernaut Game of Thrones. Having composed for all seven seasons of the hit HBO series, Ramin's score for the penultimate season finale episode "The Dragon and the Wolf" earned him the win in the category of Outstanding Music Composition For A Series Original Dramatic Score. Ramin was honored with dueling Emmy® nominations in the same category this year, also receiving a separate nomination for his music on the famed television show Westworld.

Game of Thrones led this year's list of nominees with 22 total nominations, followed by Westworld with 21 nominations.

"I am so honored to be a part of Game of Thrones and the HBO family," Ramin said about the win. "Game of Thrones is one of the most groundbreaking series on TV. The fact that I get to make music every day is such a privilege and I'm incredibly grateful to be doing so with an amazing show such as this."

Earlier this week, the critically acclaimed Game of Thrones® Live Concert Experience Featuring Ramin Djawadi returned to North America, giving fans the opportunity to watch in wonder as composer Ramin Djawadi leads an orchestra and choir performing music from all seven seasons of the legendary, Emmy® Award-winning HBO series. The North American leg of the tour kicked off on September 6th in Seattle and will travel throughout the U.S. and Canada before concluding on October 14th in Toronto. The current iteration of the Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience Featuring Ramin Djawadi will include new music and footage from Season 7, as well a new custom stage design and mesmerizing visuals courtesy of state of the art video technology. Please see below for a full list of dates.

The tour, produced and PROMOTED exclusively by Live Nation in partnership with HBO Licensing & Retail, will continue to use innovative music tour production and video technology that will recreate the various realms found throughout Westeros and Essos as well as showcase footage from the series in addition to new imagery created exclusively for the concert. The tour wrapped a successful journey across 20 European cities earlier this spring, drawing rave reviews from critics:
