Comedy Special MY DAD WROTE A PORNO to Tape in London for May Debut on HBO Image

The comedy special MY DAD WROTE A PORNO, bringing the hit British podcast of the same name to HBO, will tape next month for May debut on the network. Hosted by Jamie Morton, James Cooper and Alice Levine, the exclusive presentation tapes Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4 in front of a live audience at the Roundhouse in London.

The podcast features Jamie Morton reading a chapter from the "Belinda Blinked" series of "erotic" novels, written by his real-life father under the nom de plume Rocky Flintstone, with his friends James Cooper and Alice Levine providing uproarious commentary.

The trio are now bringing Rocky's infamous "Lost Chapter" to television after a sold-out, critically acclaimed world tour.

Hailed as a "global word-of-mouth sensation" by the Hollywood Reporter, the podcast has been described as "addictive and instantly engaging" by Indiewire and "gratuitously mucky and achingly funny" by the Financial Times, and has been downloaded more than 160 million times since its launch in 2015.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets to THE MARCH 3 and 4 tapings will be donated to Mind, a U.K. charity that provides advice and support to those experiencing a mental health issue.

The HBO comedy special will be produced by Done and Dusted; executive produced by Jamie Morton, James Cooper, Alice Levine and Rocky Flintstone; directed by Hamish Hamilton.
